現為表演研究學者和策展人，現正攻讀奧地利科學院博士，曾在維也納、柏林、香港和台北學習戲劇、電影、媒體研究及中國研究，研究重心為當代表演和跨文化關係。她曾是2022 年林茲「不可取代的身體？」藝術節和 2023 年「混合體展」的發起人和策展人。她在維也納大學與藝術學院（Akademie der Bildenden Künste）教授表演理論，曾由柏林 DISTANZ Verlag、PAJ / MIT Press、ARTMargins、TQW 雜誌、臺北市立美術館和臺北表演藝術中心等出版文字作品。
Freda Fiala is a performance researcher and curator. She is a Ph.D. fellow of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and studied Theater Film and Media Studies and Chinese Studies in Vienna, Berlin, Hong Kong and Taipei. Her work focuses on contemporary performance and cross-cultural relations. She is the initiator and curator of the performance festival The Non-fungible Body? 2022 and HYBRID BODIES 2023 at OK in Linz/Austria. She teaches on performance theory at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (Academy of Fine Arts) and at the University of Vienna. Her texts have been published by DISTANZ Verlag Berlin, PAJ / MIT Press, ARTMargins, TQW Magazine, Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Taipei Performing Arts Center, among others.
